Family,
I, as well as, the classmates and colleagues of Ally's at Outreach Training Institute are deeply saddened by this. When Ally walked into the classroom , you knew her presence. She was smart, witty, knowledgeable, caring, thoughtful and helpful. As a recent graduate of the program, I knew she had the characteristics and personality to be successful in any endeavor she chose. She will surely be missed and remembered by us all. She was a gem !! Praying for your comfort during this difficult time !!

Ally was an extraordinary bright light whose questions lit up the class every time she raised her hand. She came to OTI as an already accomplished musician with an MFA in music from NYU. Her desire to learn how to help others was second only to her curiosity about health and social policy. She challenged everyone around her to think harder and deeper about the systemic barriers to care and treatment. She was deeply concerned about making sure everyone had a seat at the table. She will be missed and remembered with love by many. One of the best and brightest.
