May she rest in peace ... My family and I have great memories of her and the Reeves family who were our next door neighbors for many years in Douglaston. She was especially kind to my mom and dad who held her in the highest regard. I will always remember her sharp wit and her hospitality- Mrs. Reeves with her her lovely eyes and her knowing ways. (It was tough trying to pull the wool over those lovely eyes... So Cathy and I were often in trouble...) Dear Mrs. Reeves - she had great aspirations for her children and was always caring to all of us friends. After my father passed away she gave me these 2 porcelain figurines that my dad had brought back from Italy for her, as a gesture of thanks for keeping on eye on our house while we were visiting family in Italy. The return of those figurines to me after he passed away was such a wonderful gesture of love that I will never forget. I have the porcelains displayed proudly in my
home and every time - every day - that I see them I think of her !!! God bless the Reeves family.
Planning ahead is prudent. Call us now.
