I did not know you well but I'm sure you must have been a very special person. Your son John is testimony to this. He is one of the dearest, most concerned people I know. Thank you for this and rest in peace.

My best friends Father, Howie, I will miss you. Your wonderful love, generosity, sassy attitude and beautiful intelligence will be missed so much. You have made Karen the happiest daughter and she is so grateful for the love you shared. My heart breaks for my Mama Pat who lost her love of a lifetime. I will always cherish my childhood memories in such a wonderful home and remember the beautiful and fun times I shared with Karen and her family. Howie, your strength will never be forgotten, you will always be in my heart.
I love you guys xoxo

I worked with Howard for many years at Con Edison. He taught me so much about the utility business that I, as a new lawyer, could have learned no where else. My condolences to his family on his passing.

What can I say... There will certainly be no other like Howie. Best Father in law- hands down! I looked forward to our cocktail hours, trying out new recipes and listening to all his wild Navy stories... I love you Howie and will never ever forget the imprint you left on me. Until we meet again...Cheers... xo

Howard was my friend John's father. My heart goes out to John and his family during this sorrowful time. I know Howard through the many stories John would tell. You know about a person through their children. Knowing John for many years, I know that Howard was a kind, giving, loving and thoughtful father. Whatever one's belief's are, I know that Howard will always watch over his family, as he did in life. July 31st, sadness fell over this world, it will take a long time for all who knew Howard to heal. My prays are with the Jeberg family.

Words can't describe the happiness Uncle Howie brought to our family. He was the originator of "Reality Shows" as he was the first family member to have a Video Recorder and pretty much recorded our every it or not! Those memories follow us forever "on film" and we can't thank him enough...they are wonderful memories! Howie was also the original "food critic" of the family. So when Howie liked what we cooked...we were overjoyed! He had SO much fun with that, and I can still envision the smirk on his face, as we waited for his "rating!" He always was a great Uncle, a great father, and a great grandfather. I'm sure Aunt Pat would agree he was also a great husband...but we could see that in her eyes, anyway. I'm gonna miss you, Howie. Luckily your kids have your sense of humor (which I always appreciated) and Aunt Pat's compassion. You did a great job bringing up such good kids, and I love them so much! I'm sure you will continue to look after them and Aunt Pat. I KNOW you still have that video recorder in hand as you watch us in the afterlife. At least this recorder will not need "a charge!" Lots of Love!

I will miss my dad more than I can ever express in these few lines. He was a wonderful dad and an even better grandfather to my girls. They absolutely adored him in every way. My heart hurts but I know he will live on in the beautiful memories he gave us.
