I am so sadden to hear of Pete's passing. My condolences to his family.

I am so fortunate to have had Pete as my first childhood friend. He lived around the block from me, and we tore-it-up just about everyday. The late 60s and early 70s was a fantastic time to be a kid in America, and a better friend you couldn't ask for.

Pete and I were best friends from kindergarten on through about forth grade - we were inseparable. From playing ball in the street, to climbing fences and jumping walls at the park, to fishing down at the bay, to getting muddy in the swamp at Bay Chevy, to the adventures on our bicycles, trips to Jones beach with his dad Artie in that big station wagon (with great music playing I might add), and of course, chasing pretty girls as best we could.

I'ld do it all over again Pete! Rest in peace brother.

Sorry to hear about Peters passing, please accept my deepest condolences for your family's loss. I went to PS 94 with Peter up to 6th grade. I will say I hung around Peter and Peter Ladislaw and we had lots of good times and got in trouble a few times together. I will say Peter was faster than me , so I got in trouble a lot more. I remember he liked the Beach Boys and I liked Elvis. Lost touch after PS 94 but will never forget.
