Claire J. Aversa passed away on January 22, 2024. She was a devoted mother to Kenneth (Phyllis) and Joyce Giordano (Thomas). An adoring “Nannie” to her grandchildren Alyson, Brian, April, Danielle and Anthony as well as her great granddaughter Juliette. A dear sister to Anne Montalbano and sister-in-law Tina Walker. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 68 years Martin and by her siblings John (Jack), Mary, Peter, and Kathleen.

Claire worked for over 30 years at Weight Watcher Intl. After retiring she volunteered in the gift shop at Long Island Jewish Hospital & served as Secretary of the St. Anastasia Leisure Club. She loved spending time with family and friends and always enjoyed hosting gatherings. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
