Remembering my godfather Danny in this photo when I was little sitting between my mother and godmother Rosita along with my father and older sister.
Orietta Ramirez left a message on January 15, 2019:
We met Danny in the mid 1960s when we lived on Sullivan Place in Brooklyn. My parents are from Chile, and he was intrigued by our heritage, country, and language. As time went on, he became a godparent, with his Chilean wife Rosita, to one of my sisters, and a mentor and adviser to all of my sisters and myself. He is one of the reasons I pursued my law degree, and a milestone I was proud to share with him. His smile, his humor and his stories, as well as his lectures, as he was a teacher at heart, left an indelible impression in our hearts. Thank you for your service, Danny, for your love of my family and for all you did for us in so many ways. May you now be at peace. Heartfelt condolences to the Mugan family and most especially his wife, Rosita. Que paz descance.
