Edwin E Arnold, 81, returned to his heavenly home on September 20, 2016 after a valiant battle with a recent illness. His devotion to his family and his upbringing, born and raised a Catholic, provided him with his firm belief in God Jesus Christ which supported him through his struggles and ultimately gave him peace. Edwin served our country proudly in the United States Army and will be honored the respect of burial acceptance at Calverton National Cemetery alongside with many other great veterans who served our country. Edwin was blessed with two children Douglas Arnold born on August 27, 1963 and Denise Arnold born on August 27, 1968 and was blessed again with two more children Aaron and Joshua Raboy through marriage to Lila Arnold. Edwin always was a go getter, hardworking, responsible and was a respected dedicated employee who worked many years in the banking industry letter of credit department. He was loved by many and made many friends wherever he went easily due to his support and helpfulness to others. He was the life of the party people would say due to his friendly and energetic personality. Always wanting everything to be perfect for his guests he would go above and beyond to make it happen. Edwin was an educator at heart. He was kind, loving, and detailed when you needed help, and always had time to answer a question or solve a problem, no matter how big or small. Edwin is survived by his wife, Lila Arnold, his son Douglas and daughter-in-law Florence Arnold; daughter Denise Arnold and son-in-law Christopher Mendoza; his two sons by marriage Aaron and Joshua and his two grandchildren Victoria and Patricia Arnold. He is dearly missed by his loved ones, who celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his creator God Jesus Christ our Lord and savior in the Kingdom of Heaven.
