I visited with Maeve for two years every Saturday...and then once I moved out of state, I called her faithfully every Thursday afternoon. I was supposedly checking in with her but she was a friend and support system for me as well. We laughed and joked over Oreos and tea while Nia begged for carrots.
Just thinking of her this Thursday afternoon and missing her.
