John Emery of Douglaston, New York, passed away on May 1, 2024.

John was born in New York city on August 13, 1936 to Anna and John Sabo. After graduating from La Salle Academy he went on to study accounting and business law at Fordham University. John was an avid golfer, bowler and sailor. He enjoyed spending summer vacations with his family and traveling with his wife, Beverley. He is survived by Beverley, his wife of 63 years, his daughters Genevieve (Jerry) Kluka, Christine (Peter Mrekva) Ondris and six grandchildren, Christopher, Alexa, Stefanie, Brianna, Kirsten and Luca.
