I was always pleased when Joe was the lector at mass, kind, warm, friendly, and faithful. A real gentleman. He was so proud of you Pat, Caroline & Conor. He will be watching over you from above.
I am grateful for all the fond memories I have of Joe from my childhood (if you knew Joe you were lucky to be around him and his infectious laugh). These are memories I will hold dear to me. The friendship you had with my family, especially my dad, is one that can never be forged again. May he rest in eternal peace. Sending my deepest condolences to Pat, Caroline, and Conor.
I'm gonna miss him answering the phone when I call my Grandma. Love you Joe...

I was deeply saddened to learn about the passing of Joe, he was a real gentleman and a pleasure to work for, I’ll be forever grateful for Joe’s mentorship over my years at Murphys & Jamesons.
Joe left a lasting impression on many of his guests, there wouldn’t be a week gone by that somebody wasn’t asking about Joe O’Bryne. I only wish I had seen him in action behind that bar for the stories about Joe were consistent, a witty, charming & compassionate man loved by all!
Our thoughts and prayers are with the O’Bryne family at this difficult time.
