To the Marshall family. Thank you for sharing Mr. Marshall with all of us who came out of Thomas Edison High School! I am a Electrical Engineer today and the man I am to my family because Lawrence showed me that you can be kind, generous, thoughtful and a engineer and do well. I would not be the man I am without him. Coolest thing was when he came out in 1999 to see me get married. But even throughout college always encouraged me to keep pushing on when others did not. He was like the father u were blessed to have. I will never forget him. I am sorry for your loss. I luv Mr. Marshall Kind Regards, Antonio Godfrey P.S. I still buy large nap sacks like u showed me in 1989

To the Marshall Family, I will always remember Mr. Marshall as the "picture taker", literally since I was born (he took all the pictures at my baptism) at all our family functions. Being the documenter of history is an important job. It doesn't means that you're in the picture, but you sacrifice your own sense of ego for others. I will always remember him every time I look at those beautiful images he created throughout the years. His kindness in wanting to capture the moment for others was just a small part of his incredible generosity. His memory is a blessing to me, I can't help but smile when I think about the happiness he brought our family. Although unfortunately I didn't get to see him lately as often as I would have liked; there is going to be a hole in my life that is empty, now that the person that documented it is now absent. He was a living, breathing example to me of what it means to be a good person who cares about others and goes above and beyond. By never loudly taking credit for his work, he helped me learn that it's not the person who gets the credit that's important, it's the final product and how happy the people are with the results. You could see by the smile on his face that seeing that happiness was enough. God Bless you Larry Marshall, you're definitely one of a kind, and you shall be greatly missed.
