MaryAnn Carlin-Walsh,77, died peacefully on February 25, 2016. She was born and raised in Ridgewood and Richmond Hill, Queens. The daughter of Vincent and Marie Carlin, MaryAnn is survived by her siblings, Kathleen Nimr of Martinez, CA, Aileen Giannelli of Fair Lawn, NJ, Deirdre Ruiz of Little Neck, NY, Vincent Carlin of Oakville, Ontario, Deborah Modica of Douglaston, NY and two stepsons, Timothy Walsh of London, England and Christopher Walsh of Botsford, CT. She is the beloved aunt of numerous nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter Walsh. A gifted English and Drama teacher, she taught for many years at Bishop McDonnell M.H.S. in Brooklyn and John Glenn High School in Elwood, NY. She shared her love of theater with her many students and her always grateful nieces and nephews.
