Robert Engler also know sometimes as Bob Engler was a lifetime resident of Little Neck. Son of Gene & Ernestine Engler (Owners of “Little Neck Inn” for over 16 yrs). Robert worked for the Board of Education over 35 years, over 20 of those years at PS 94 which he did a major overhaul and beautified that school and was proud of it. Sadly had to retire from there due to health conditions which broke his heart. He loved running that school and really cared about the children. Anyone that knew him liked him, he was a friend to everyone. A quiet guy always helping someone out that was in need, even a job.
