Rosemary Braz, age 77, of Orlando, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2020. She was born November 3, 1942 in College Point, New York. Rosemary pursued her education at the State University at Potsdamn and later began her career as an elementary school teacher. She also received a Master of Education degree from C.W. Post on Long Island. Rosemary met her late husband, Ronald Braz, while teaching at Giblyn Elementary School in Freeport, New York. After raising their family in Freeport, they retired to Orlando in 1996. Rosemary is survived by her children, Lisa Bobowicz(John), Matthew(Tamara), Laura Fabrizio(Chris),Steve(Jessica), Allison Rivera(Carlos). Also survived by her brother Gregory Becker(Diane) and eight wonderful grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends both in Orlando and in New York. Rosemary will be laid to rest with her husband at Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery in Flushing, New York. A funeral service will be held at Fidelis Catholic Church in College Point, New York at a later date. May Rosemary rest in peace with her beloved husband and watch over us all.
