Every single interaction I've had with Uncle Tom ended in a laugh. Even when the family would gather for a funeral, Tom had some anecdote or funny story to tell about the departed that would let his audience celebrate the life while we mourned the passing. I will never forget the way he and Alice cut a rug at our wedding. They put the youngsters to shame on that dance floor. He was a joyful, big-hearted man who made it his business to make everyone feel welcome and part of the family. Our most sincere condolences to Alice and the children. We love you, Uncle Tom.
